Job Description – Technical Product Owner (Data Engineering & AI) We are seeking a

Technical Product Owner (TPO)

with deep expertise in

data engineering and AI-driven product development

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about shaping enterprise-grade data platforms, building scalable AI solutions, and driving Agile delivery. This role will be pivotal in defining product vision, managing backlogs, and partnering with cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful data products. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for data engineering and AI-driven products. Align product initiatives with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, testable, and business-value focused. Partner with Scrum Masters and Agile teams to deliver incremental value through sprints, ensuring alignment with SAFe/Agile frameworks. Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and advanced analytics capabilities. Partner with data scientists to translate AI/ML use cases into deployable product features. Ensure robust integration of AI models into production environments, leveraging platforms like Databricks for development and deployment. Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams (data engineers, architects, data scientists) and business units. Communicate technical solutions and product value in business-friendly language to executive stakeholders. Ensure data products adhere to governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA regulations in life sciences context). Partner with data governance and security teams to embed trust, transparency, and auditability in all solutions. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Experience : 6+ years in data engineering, analytics, or product ownership roles. Proven success as a

Product Owner or Technical BA

in Agile/SAFe environments. Strong knowledge of

Databricks, Spark, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) . Experience working with

AI/ML use cases , including model deployment and monitoring. Skills : Strong understanding of

data architecture, pipelines, and lakehouse models . Ability to write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with technical depth. Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills. Familiarity with compliance-heavy environments (healthcare, pharma, or enterprise clients).
