Configure, maintain, and support financial ERP modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Banking, Business Assets, Leases), ensuring alignment with operational and accounting workflows. Monitor and test new system updates and feature releases; coordinate necessary changes and communicate functional impacts to the Finance team. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot standard and custom financial reports and dashboards to support operations, audits, and decision‑making. Serve as the first point of contact for Finance staff experiencing issues or errors in the financial ERP system; troubleshoot, investigate root causes, and coordinate solutions with internal IT or external support teams as needed. Create and maintain clear, user‑friendly documentation, including job aids and training guides for finance staff. Act as the primary systems trainer for new finance department hires, focusing on system functionality relevant to their roles. Develop working knowledge of major finance functions (journal entries, accruals, accounts payable, close processes, business assets, leases, banking and settlement) to serve as backup for coverage during leave or transitions. Participate in the design and testing of finance‑related business processes, security roles, and integrations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial data quality, system performance, and process efficiency. Assist with audit preparation and compliance by ensuring timely, accurate access to system‑generated reports and transaction logs. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience using Workday Financials in a system support, analyst capacity, or as a Senior Accountant (or similar). Experience supporting finance operations within healthcare, hospital, or nonprofit settings preferred. Demonstrated understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles (journal entries, month‑end close, accounts payable, accruals, financial reporting). Hands‑on experience creating and troubleshooting standard and custom reports; experience with system testing and release validation; coordinating changes with accounting, AP, payroll, or IT stakeholders. Ability to document workflows, create job aides, and deliver user training tailored to finance staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present explanations clearly to individuals and groups. Advanced Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on complex spreadsheet analysis. Experience with system integrations or data loads (e.g., EIB, connectors, data imports); familiarity with role‑based security and approval workflows. Ability to organize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines; analytical mindset for large data sets and recommendations.
