The team builds privacy, data protection, data governance, and AI governance programs with a risk-based, data-driven approach. We focus on global privacy/data protection compliance, DPAs, data security, product privacy by design, and governance reviews for products, vendors, and internal operations. Our work includes internal investigations and customer-facing resources for Trust Center documentation. Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct privacy and AI governance reviews of vendors, products, and internal programs involving personal data processing Handle and respond to data subject rights (DSR) requests and other privacy inquiries Maintain and update internal and external privacy and data protection policies, standards, and guidance Create customer-facing FAQs and data sheets related to personal data processing to aid customer privacy reviews Support audits, assessments, and certifications; respond to privacy and security questionnaires Facilitate due diligence and transitions in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as needed Advise Sales & Marketing on privacy and data protection requirements for activities (email, events, online marketing, etc.) Collaborate with Legal, Security, Engineering, Product, Marketing, HR, Sales, and other cross-functional teams Provide expert support in internal investigations, security incidents, and data breaches Monitor privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI governance laws and trends Drive internal training and awareness of privacy/data protection obligations Identify training needs and contribute to global training programs Support the CPO in privacy program management and operations Required Qualifications
5+ years of full-time experience in privacy/data protection, data governance, and AI governance 3+ years in the tech industry, with at least 2+ years in the B2B tech sector 2+ years conducting privacy and AI governance reviews with recommended risk-minimization controls Qualified US attorney Nice-to-Haves
Experience in the enterprise cloud software tech industry First-principles, risk-based, data-driven approach to prioritization Strong people skills: collaboration, communication, empathy Experience using privacy program management tools Education
