Chief of Cardiology, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital Far Rockaway, NY The Department of Cardiology at Northwell Health is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief of Cardiology to lead cardiology services at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, including inpatient consultation service, critical care cardiology, and hospital-based cardiovascular imaging.

The ideal candidate is Board-Certified in cardiovascular diseases, with proficiency in various non-invasive modalities, and a passion for patient care, program building, and leadership. As the only full-service acute care hospital serving residents of The Rockaways, the Five Towns, southern Queens, and southwestern Nassau County, we are seeking a strong leader interested in patient/provider experience, growth, care quality, and programmatic development. St. John’s Episcopal Hospital is a Level 2 trauma center with a 257-bed capacity, affiliated with Episcopal Health Services. As a teaching affiliate of SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, the hospital maintains full accreditation from The Joint Commission. In addition, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital holds designation as a New York State Stroke Center and has received the Gold-Plus “Get with the Guidelines–Stroke” Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. It is also a certified emergency heart care station. St. John’s has an affiliation with Northwell Health and their large system of care for advanced cardiovascular care delivery. Lead cardiology services at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, including inpatient consultation service, critical care cardiology, and hospital-based cardiovascular imaging.
