– Far Rockaway, NY The Department of Cardiology at Northwell Health is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief of Cardiology to lead cardiology services at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, including inpatient consultation service, critical care cardiology, and hospital-based cardiovascular imaging. The ideal candidate is Board-Certified in cardiovascular diseases, with proficiency in various non-invasive modalities, and a passion for patient care, program building, and leadership. Responsibilities

Lead inpatient consultation service, critical care cardiology, and hospital-based cardiovascular imaging. Provide strategic leadership for program development, quality improvement, and patient/provider experience. Represent the department in alignment with Northwell Health’s goals and standards. Qualifications

Board-Certified in cardiovascular diseases. Proficiency in non-invasive cardiovascular modalities. Experience in leadership, program development, and clinical excellence. About the Organization and Location

As the only full-service acute care hospital serving residents of The Rockaways, the Five Towns, southern Queens, and southwestern Nassau County, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital is a Level 2 trauma center with 257 beds and affiliation with Episcopal Health Services. The hospital is a teaching affiliate of SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, with full accreditation from The Joint Commission. It holds designation as a New York State Stroke Center and has received the Gold-Plus “Get with the Guidelines–Stroke” Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association.
