Compensation:
$40 - $50 per hour
LHH is working with an international firm seeking a highly skilled Temporary Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. This onsite role in San Francisco or Palo Alto is a 4+ Month Assignment offering $40-$50 per hour with the opportunity to convert to direct hire. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in insurance defense or coverage litigation and be well-versed in Federal and California court procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including discovery, court filings, calendaring, and trial preparation.
Manage and coordinate electronic filings in Federal and California courts.
Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
Maintain case files, track deadlines, and support attorneys with scheduling and docketing.
Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience supporting multiple attorneys in litigation defense.
Extensive knowledge of Federal and California electronic court filing systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Prior experience in insurance defense or coverage litigation preferred.
