A growing bank in the DMV is looking for a
First Vice President of Business Banking Team Lead
to play a strategic leadership role in expanding their business banking portfolio. This position is responsible for developing new business relationships, managing and growing existing client accounts, and leading teams across the Business Banking Portfolio.
Responsibilities
Lead and Manage Lending Operations:
Oversee the Business Banking team composed of Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Operations to ensure effective loan processing, underwriting, and service delivery.
Drive Business Development:
Manage and Expand existing Clients while Cultivating new client relationships to align lending solutions with customer needs.
Ensure Regulatory and Credit Compliance:
Monitor loan quality and adherence to credit and regulatory standards, leveraging deep credit and underwriting knowledge.
Qualifications
Experience:
10 years’ progressive experience in multiple platforms of commercial lending, including underwriting, credit analysis, and sales.
Leadership Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a banking environment.
Technical Experience:
History of Laser Pro, Microsoft Office and related lending systems.
