Your Role As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions.
Responsibilities
Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis.
Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met.
Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen; staying abreast of current business and industry trends and assimilating to new knowledge.
Delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of developments and outcomes.
Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust.
Leading and mentoring diverse teams, providing feedback and coaching; fostering an innovative, inclusive environment.
Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing ways to meet client needs; cultivating long-term client relationships across EY practices.
Skills And Attributes For Success On engagements, you will work with key stakeholders to understand needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. You will initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, and complete workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution. You will liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology requirements definition.
Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios.
Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks.
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and negotiate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience.
At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) in a functional consulting or system configuration role.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
Experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members.
Knowledge of best practices in supply chain and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology.
Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
Willingness to travel; travel estimated at 40-60%.
Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses.
Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks.
Skills in training design and delivery.
Ideally, prior consulting industry experience.
SAP certification(s).
Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP.
Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations (ECC and/or S/4HANA) focusing on SAP Production Planning (PP).
Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
Experience integrating SAP PP with MES and SAP QM.
Hands-on SAP PP configuration experience.
Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specs.
Experience writing and executing test scripts and training materials for end users.
Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, and Materials Management.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations and product lifecycle management.
Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models.
