Overview
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Autoantibody Pipeline for the Southeast region. This field-based role covers Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, with preferred locations in Atlanta, GA or Orlando, Tampa, or Miami, FL. This is a field-based clinical position requiring travel up to 70%. Our Immunology team leads in transformational medicines for immunological disorders and illnesses. The MSL provides fair, balanced, objective, scientific information and education to opinion leaders, health care professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs. The MSL is a scientifically grounded leader on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products within the Therapeutic Area alignment. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a field–level strategic plan and territory engagement with identified OLs and health care providers, prioritizing in-person interactions when appropriate. Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, health care systems, and decision makers by integrating scientific data and real-world evidence into practice. Present data in a manner appropriate to the audience and request; execute proactive and reactive outreach plans in accordance with legal and HCC guidelines. Identify and address educational gaps within the territory, manage administrative duties, and balance field responsibilities with project work. Lead or participate in at least one scientific or strategic Immunology project and attend scientific conferences to gather relevant information for internal and external stakeholders. Represent J&J at relevant scientific meetings, congresses, advisory boards, and investigator meetings; support JNJ at speaking engagements as appropriate. Provide regional and local support to enhance sales training initiatives in collaboration with Sales Learning and Development. Ensure all activities comply with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines. Qualifications
Required: A PharmD, PhD, or MD with 1–2 years of relevant hematology, immunology, or auto/alloimmune clinical or research experience; 1–2 years of MSL experience preferred in rare disease; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and remote technologies; ability to travel up to 70%.
