mobile home parks
and
manufactured housing communities . You’ll collaborate closely with on-site managers and property staff to drive NOI, enhance community quality, and ensure full legal compliance. Your strategic insights and leadership will help elevate property value and resident satisfaction while aligning with investment goals. Responsibilities include: Develop and manage annual budgets, rent rolls, and business plans for each property Track property-level financial performance: NOI, cash flow, capex, occupancy, and rent collection Analyze market trends and competitor performance in the
manufactured housing
sector Recommend and manage
capital improvement projects
for long-term asset enhancement Work with
mobile home park managers
to support daily operations, staffing, and vendor coordination Identify and implement
revenue optimization opportunities
(e.g., utility billbacks, storage, amenity upgrades) Ensure compliance with
California Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL) ,
rent control ordinances , and
housing regulations Handle risk management, insurance coverage, and legal compliance across all communities Support refinancing, acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic repositioning of assets Act as liaison between ownership, investors, legal counsel, and local jurisdictions Provide detailed reporting and performance updates to stakeholders Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field, Master’s preferred 5+ years of California real estate asset management experience managing
mobile home parks ,
manufactured housing communities , or similar property types Deep knowledge of California MRL, affordable housing compliance, and property tax considerations Strong financial modeling and forecasting experience specific to
land-lease communities Proven track record in vendor management, negotiation, and property operations Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Experience mentoring on-site property managers and improving community performance metrics Hands on experience and understanding of physical maintenance of properties Great analytical skills and experience with rent control ordinances About the Hiring Company: Our client is a leading
