Position overview
We are seeking an associate attorney with 4+ years of experience in civil litigation defense to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who wants significant case responsibility, early courtroom exposure, and a clear path for advancement. Key responsibilities
Handle all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. Represent clients in state and federal courts, mediations, and arbitrations. Prepare case strategy, evaluate exposure, and communicate recommendations to clients. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex cases while independently managing a portion of the caseload. Required qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California Bar. 3+ years of experience in general liability, professional liability, or related civil litigation. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications
Deposition and/or first-chair trial experience. Experience representing professionals (attorneys, accountants, architects, etc.) in malpractice or errors & omissions matters. Demonstrated interest in client development and networking. What we offer
