Location: Home location to be determined upon assignment, within 40 miles from Stamford, CT Salary Range: $80,000 per year - $92,000 per year Responsibilities
Oversee and execute day-to-day operations across kitchen, fulfillment, service, and customer experience Optimize labor deployment and lead shift readiness to meet volume and throughput targets Use operational data and customer feedback to identify issues, make real-time decisions, and drive continuous improvement Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to maintain flow and consistency Ensure full compliance with food safety, labor, and health standards Maintain tools, equipment, and facilities to Wonder brand standards and escalate unresolved issues promptly Lead, coach, and develop hourly team members with a focus on accountability, service, and safety Set clear expectations and provide real-time feedback and coaching Manage team performance by observing service, tracking KPIs, and escalating issues as needed Partner with the Senior Operations Leader on hiring, training, and development Drive operational excellence by ensuring flawless execution of brand standards and readiness through checklists and procedures Assist with new menu rollouts and updates with clear communication to the team Support business and labor performance by executing daily labor plans and food cost targets Manage inventory, waste reduction, and labeling standards Analyze shift-level data and recommend process changes to improve outcomes Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws Grow the business by coaching and developing team members, preparing for talent promotion, and supporting future expansion Train and certify team trainers for openings and onboarding Mentor managers-in-training for potential transfers or leadership roles Model company values and reinforce performance standards Collaborate with the Senior Operations Leader on workload initiatives, staffing, scheduling, and team development Lead pilot programs and shape best practices for company-wide rollout Who you are
2+ years of experience managing shift operations in food service, retail, hospitality, or similar Confident in leading teams and executing complex shifts in fast-paced, customer-facing environments Experience owning operational KPIs including labor deployment, order accuracy, and throughput Coaches frontline employees with clarity, empathy, and consistency Agile in managing live operations with ability to prioritize and pivot while maintaining standards Detail-oriented with knowledge of food safety and team safety protocols Strong communicator and collaborator who builds alignment through structure and positivity Requirements
Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Open availability, including nights and weekends Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) Benefits
