Overview

Role: By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE Mission, ONE Team, the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Marketing advances Park's presence and impact. This role oversees Park's brand, campaigns, and communications, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment across all platforms and audiences. The AVP leads the development of product strategy, positioning Park's services to remain competitive and relevant, and drives go-to-market plans that turn organizational objectives into impactful campaigns across digital, print, in-branch, and community channels. They provide creative direction that transforms strategy into compelling storytelling and experiences, while also establishing performance measures to track outcomes and refine future efforts. As a collaborative leader, the AVP works closely with departments across Park, building alignment and fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and the ongoing growth and evolution of the marketing team. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Oversee Park’s brand identity and voice across all platforms, ensuring that campaigns and communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational objectives. Manage the development of messaging that strengthens Park’s reputation, drives engagement, and reflects our mission to members, employees, and the community. Advance Park’s product strategy by positioning services and offerings to remain competitive and relevant. Translate organizational objectives into go-to-market plans and promotional campaigns across digital, print, in-branch, and community channels to support growth and member loyalty. Provide creative direction that turns strategy into compelling storytelling, design, and experiences. Guide the development of relationships, deliverables, content, and events that empower and equip internal teams and connect meaningfully with members and the broader community. Establish performance measures for marketing initiatives and campaigns. Use data and insights to evaluate outcomes, refine strategies, and demonstrate impact, building a culture of accountability and ongoing improvement. Partner with leaders and departments across Park to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals and community impact. Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and readiness to support Park’s growth. Performs other duties as assigned. Performance Measurements

To provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members and coworkers. To provide direction and recommendations to management, based on current research data, regarding market strategies and directions the credit union should take. To deliver planned results within budget, meeting credit union's growth objectives. To accomplish all assigned projects according to policy and procedures, and with cross functional collaboration. To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame. To hire, direct and motivate a highly qualified staff sufficient to meet the daily operational needs of the department. To maintain a professional work environment, promote teamwork, build respect among coworkers and present a businesslike appearance. To follow all security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to manager immediately. Knowledge and Skills

Experience

Five years to eight years of progressively responsible leadership experience in marketing, brand management, communications, or a closely related field. Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing campaigns, and delivering measurable growth and engagement outcomes. Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline. Interpersonal Skills

Exceptional ability to build trust, champion collaboration, and align cross-functional teams. Motivates and influences others by combining creativity, accountability, and data-driven insight as core aspects of leadership. Other Skills

Strategic thinker with expertise in brand management, campaign development, communications, and public relations. Strong leadership and coaching abilities to elevate team performance and build capacity. Skilled in data-driven marketing, creative direction, and performance measurement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages that engage members, inspire teams, and strengthen Park’s presence in the marketplace and community.
