Charles Schwab . Your opportunity at Schwab is to contribute to Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) by shaping the Investment Offer Strategy within the Investment & Offer Solutions (IOS) group. The IOS team manages proprietary Separately Managed Account products and third-party product marketplaces across Alternative Investments, Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Structured Products, Fixed Income, Annuities & Insurance, and 529, delivering positive client experiences while growing a key revenue stream. You will work with leaders across IOS and WAS, and collaborate with partners in Retail, Advisor Services, Workplace, Schwab Asset Management, and corporate functions (Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance) to develop go-forward offer strategy for clients, RIAs, asset managers, and Schwab. In this role, you’ll report to the Director, IOS Strategy. Where You Will Excel
Lead and support key strategic projects in collaboration with IOS offer management leaders and the senior leadership team, including: Conducting new product discovery Performing in-depth research such as competitive analyses, field and client interviews, and industry best practices Designing and analyzing offers/solutions including market sizing, financial modeling, and regulatory and risk assessments Synthesizing complex information and analysis to form clear recommendations Craft compelling presentations to support the strategy process, deliver recommendations, and influence audiences at various levels across Schwab, including leadership in WAS and partner organizations Monitor Schwab’s business results and IOS results, and the industry to proactively surface opportunities and challenges Support IOS organizational communication and team engagement efforts We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and expect the selected candidate to work on site four days per week in the specified locations. Bachelor’s degree Consultative experience – minimum 3 years of business strategy experience (preferably in consulting, internal strategy, or financial services product management), and a total of 5+ years of work experience Asset management acumen – understanding of wealth management market and investment products (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts) Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft executive-level communications and presentations that articulate vision, strategy, and progress Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in wealth or asset management strongly preferred Strategic planning – ability to scope and frame ambiguous problems, think ahead, and recognize second-order impacts Executive audience comfort – ability to develop and share a point of view with executives, collaborate, create alignment, and influence across levels Resourceful, adaptable, and creative problem solver in dynamic environments Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to drive progress under tight deadlines MBA preferred What’s in it for you
