The Boston Beer Company . The Sr. Tax Accountant plays a crucial part in the execution of Boston Beer’s tax compliance, accounting, and planning efforts. The Sr. Tax Accountant will report to the Sr. Tax Manager and be responsible for the preparation of the federal and state income tax returns, quarterly and annual income tax accounting workpapers, and assist in other ad hoc projects. What You'll Brew

Prepare federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns (Form 1120), ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax laws and regulations. With the guidance of the Sr. Tax Manager, prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740). Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives and address tax issues not limited to income tax, payroll tax, and indirect taxes. Support tax audits and inquiries from various tax authorities. Support financial statement audits and the execution of company SOX controls. Collaborate with internal teams (accounting, legal, operations, people & culture) to gather necessary information for tax filings and support business initiatives. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and assist in assessing their impact on the company. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field 2-4 years of progressive experience in corporate tax (must have experience with Form 1120) Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax laws Proficiency in tax preparation and research software (Onesource, CCH preferred) Preferred Qualifications

Master’s in taxation and/or CPA certification Experience with SAP ERP is a plus. Details

Level: 6 Salary ranges are disclosed in accordance with pay transparency laws. For this role, the salary range is between $73,000 and $133,300. The starting point within this range depends on related experience, skillset, and location. This position may qualify for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and some sales roles may include a car allowance. Perks
