We are seeking a Commercial Counsel – Customer Contracts to provide timely legal counsel on commercial matters, including contract management for the U.S. Sterile Injectable and Generics business units. The Attorney will strategically lead, coordinate, facilitate and manage contract requests, including preparation and negotiation of commercial agreements and customer agreements. The role also supports the Endo contract management process and the Legal Department’s contract management tool, and provides commercial and regulatory counsel on initiatives and MARC review processes.
All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.
Job Description
Accountability Responsibilities % of Time Independently consult, advise, and represent the Company on a variety of highly complex contractual legal matters, particularly customer agreements, for the sterile injectable and generics business units. Advise on commercial contract management processes with strong project management, legal analysis, quality standards, and understanding of contract terms aligned with client needs and business objectives. Provide legal advice to business colleagues to manage risk related to contract matters. Business Unit Counsel Provide legal advice to business colleagues in the Sterile Injectables and Generics Business Unit to manage regulatory compliance of commercial initiatives and promotional labeling through the MARC review process. Special Projects Assist with development or creation of policies, standards, and procedures for contract management. Assist with other special projects as assigned. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school required. Bar admission in New Jersey and Pennsylvania preferred. Minimum eight years senior-level experience with customer contracting at law firms, corporate legal departments, or other service providers. Experience with pharmaceutical contracting across generics, government and hospital-based contracts, and related corporate support areas (e.g., Finance, IT). Understanding of laws and regulations applicable to pharmaceutical marketing and commercialization for sterile injectables and generics. Experience with contracts management programs and requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity, including larger matters, in a fast-paced environment. Strong research, written and negotiation skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with various levels of staff and management. Excellent client relationship skills and ability to manage client expectations proactively. Good judgment, initiative, and ability to make concrete recommendations. Leadership abilities with accountability; ability to work with limited supervision. Ability to multitask under pressure, and strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Customer service demeanor; approachable, respectful, and professional. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within the Company and with external suppliers. Superior technical communication skills and flexibility in unanticipated situations. Ability to own tasks from start to finish and operate independently. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
