To support these initiatives, HP is seeking an ambitious, financially skilled and team-oriented professional to join the Corporate Development team. This individual will support inorganic transactions across HP’s Global Business Units acting as a trusted advisor, working closely with senior leaders to establish and drive M&A strategy, priorities, and deal execution.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain valuation and financial models.
Prepare clear, data-driven presentations for executive decision-making. Support cross-functional due diligence teams, including coordinating question list preparation, and partnering with the business unit on forecast financial modeling.
Develop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge.
Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support business strategy.
Identify, screen and value M&A and investment opportunities
Actively participate in enhancing Corporate Development practices and processes.
Education and Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Services, Private Equity, or related fields, ideally within the technology sector. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
Knowledge and Skills
Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical judgment with the ability to tackle complex projects independently and identify root issues.
Ability to understand abstract ideas and logically address project objectives with limited direction. Able to determine the facts of the case and reveal root issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey important messages in a clear & compelling manner.
Fast learner able to adapt to new teams and work well under pressure.
High capacity for work; able to maintain performance over long stretches of time. Resilient.
Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is $125,000 to $190,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
