We leverage inorganic investments to diversify and accelerate growth including the acquisitions of Poly (video and audio collaboration), HyperX (gaming), Teradici (remote computing), and select assets of Humane (AI-platform). To support these initiatives, HP is seeking an ambitious, financially skilled and team-oriented professional to join the Corporate Development team. This individual will support inorganic transactions across HP’s Global Business Units acting as a trusted advisor, working closely with senior leaders to establish and drive M&A strategy, priorities, and deal execution.**Job Description**The Manager is a key contributor to the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and divestitures. This high-impact role involves collaboration with senior leaders to drive M&A strategy and deal execution.***Responsibilities:**** Build and maintain valuation and financial models.* Prepare clear, data-driven presentations for executive decision-making.
Support cross-functional due diligence teams, including coordinating question list preparation, and partnering with the business unit on forecast financial modeling.* Develop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge.* Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support business strategy.* Identify, screen and value M&A and investment opportunities* Actively participate in enhancing Corporate Development practices and processes.* Desire to be a key leader in an active deal team which regularly engages with start-up and established tech companies, venture capital/private equity investors, investment banks, and strategy consulting firms.***Education and Experience Required:***
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Services, Private Equity, or related fields, ideally within the technology sector. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.***Knowledge and Skills:**** Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent analytical judgment with the ability to tackle complex projects independently and identify root issues.* Ability to understand abstract ideas and logically address project objectives with limited direction.
Able to determine the facts of the case and reveal root issues* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey important messages in a clear & compelling manner.The base pay range for this role is $104800 to $158250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).
