Summary
I. Job Summary Build new and maintain current relationships with referral sources. Assist the facility marketing team with developing and executing the Census Development plan to meet census and payer mix goals. Qualifications
II. Qualifications Valid RN license. Success in external marketing to healthcare referral sources preferred. Knowledge of long-term care practices, laws, and regulations; minimum 2 years in long-term care, preferably in marketing or nursing. Proficiency in English communication. Ability to interact tactfully with hospitals, physicians, patients, families, and the public. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and good interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data tracking, trend analysis, and report writing. Requirements
III. Physical Requirements Mobility throughout the workday. Ability to handle mental and emotional stress. Good vision and hearing, or suitable prosthetics. Good general health and emotional stability. Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals. Prolonged standing/walking; ability to lift and move equipment. Exposure to infectious diseases possible. Essential Functions
Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources. Provide facility information, manage referrals, and facilitate admissions. Coordinate hospital discharge processes and follow-up visits. Participate in census development and marketing strategies. Conduct hospital rounds, communicate with discharge planners, and identify new referral opportunities. Develop community marketing events and maintain referral sources. Additional Information
