Responsibilities What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Design, develop, and deploy advanced heuristics and metaheuristics to solve complex NP-Hard optimization problems
Focus on route optimization, vehicle routing problems (VRP), and the traveling salesman problem (TSP)
Collaborate with stakeholders to formalize requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in programming languages such as Go, Java, or C++
Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical design discussions
Qualifications What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
Proven experience in designing and implementing heuristics and metaheuristics for NP-Hard problems
Strong understanding of algorithm design, data structures, and computational complexity
Experience with designing and architecting large, high-scale backend systems
Preferred Qualifications How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master's or PhD with 5+ years of experience
Proven experience with Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) related challenges
Familiarity with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong product mindset focused on delivering incremental value to customers
