What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Design and implement modular, composable primitives and APIs to capture core business logic for diverse energy resources

Understand energy industry rules and regulations to effectively design compliant software solutions

Collaborate with internal experts to translate complex market dynamics into well-documented production code

Contribute to the engineering roadmap, vision, and goals of the organization

Lead major initiatives, including new customer-facing products and data infrastructure scaling

What is Required (Qualifications)

8+ years of software engineering industry experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience designing durable data models and managing them at scale

Background in cloud-native application design and development using APIs, containers, and infrastructure-as-code

Strong understanding of system architecture and translating complex business domains into scalable systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Passion for well-tested, readable, and maintainable code

Experience in the energy industry or with demand response platforms
