Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers and safety teams to design and build maps infrastructure and pipelines
Own the design and implementation of scalable frontend and backend services for large fleets
Advocate for technical excellence and navigate trade-offs in project execution
Communicate effectively with engineering and product teams to maintain feedback loops
Champion and embody the company’s cultural principles as the organization scales
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience as a software engineer
Proficiency in full-stack or backend development
Strong programming and coding fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions and deliver customer value in ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in shaping and improving mapping, routing, or navigation products
Passion for mentoring and aiding junior engineers in their growth
Experience thriving in early-stage teams and scaling through post-startup phases
Willingness to engage directly with customers as needed
