Overview
At Multibeam Corporation, we are creating technology that will shape the future of microelectronics. We are launching a product that could impact everything from the next IoT to the security of your smartphone. We value passion, mutual respect, integrity, and collaboration, and we seek team members who want to grow with us in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The company is led by experienced industry leaders and aims to expand its team with like-minded individuals who share our values. As a Process and Applications Engineer, you will play a critical role in customer demonstrations of Multibeam’s lithography capabilities and enable new applications for our next-electron beam writing system. You will work closely with the Patterning Group and collaborate with internal hardware and software teams, vendors, and customers to demonstrate system capabilities. The ideal candidate is independent, flexible, and enjoys a fast-paced, creative technical environment. Responsibilities
Operate semiconductor lithography and metrology equipment in a cleanroom environment Perform microscope inspection of patterned wafers and coordinate metrology with partner labs Analyze data and generate reports and presentations to communicate results Plan and execute lab experiments and oversee stock of process materials Wafer processing, including resist coat and develop Develop and maintain technical documentation and recommend changes in procedures Support calibration and testing of critical subsystems and installation of new lab equipment Travel to customer and partner sites as needed to support applications development (25-35%) Qualifications
Hands-on experience operating semiconductor process equipment, especially lithography tools Understanding of semiconductor lithography processes, metrology, and materials Experience optimizing wafer fabrication processes and applying statistical methods (DOE, SPC, etc.) Experience working in a cleanroom environment, with wet chemicals, and handling wafers Experience maintaining and troubleshooting lab hardware, or installing new equipment Comfortable working on new equipment without well-established procedures Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills Education and Experience
Graduate degree in semiconductor-related field + 5 years of industry experience Company Description
Multibeam is re-innovating e-beam lithography to enable cost-effective production of leading-edge semiconductors for advanced packaging, photonics, rapid prototyping, and other special applications. It is the industry’s only maskless multi-column e-beam platform that offers full-wafer direct write patterning capabilities with fine resolution in a modular architecture optimized for scale. The fully automated system features multiple miniaturized e-beam delivery columns and advanced algorithms that enable precision patterning with fab-level productivity. Innovated by patterning and wafer fab equipment experts, our solution makes patterns that are impossible, difficult, or too expensive for mask-based solutions, with breakthrough time-to-market advantages.
