The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Lucile Packard Children\\'s Hospital Stanford (LPCHS). The successful candidate would be a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator line. The role includes clinical care, teaching, and potential opportunities in quality improvement and research, with academic rank determined by qualifications and experience. Responsibilities

Provide clinical care as one of 21 attending cardiac intensivists in the CVICU at LPCHS. Provide cardiac consultation in the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units at LPCHS. Engage in house staff and fellow education; participate in clinical, translational, or quality/performance improvement research as appropriate. Collaborate on research opportunities with investigators across Stanford University. Support and mentor junior faculty and contribute to program development within the CVICU and pediatric cardiac services. Qualifications

Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, or Pediatric Anesthesia. Completed advanced training in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care, via dual fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine or a senior fellowship in cardiovascular intensive care. Ability to contribute to clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity; strong interest in research or quality improvement is desirable. About LPCHS and the CVICU

The Children’s Heart Center at LPCHS is a top pediatric cardiac program with a 36-bed CVICU, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care, including mechanical circulatory support and a pediatric heart transplant program.
