Technical Architect – Job Description We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our collaborative design team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead multifamily architectural projects, mentor designers, and contribute to sustainable, community-focused designs. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and strong design sensibilities, thriving in a supportive and team-oriented environment. What We’re Looking For
8+ years of architectural design experience, including 5+ years in multifamily projects 5+ years of Revit experience, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Enscape, and other design tools Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture Licensed Architect (Washington license preferred, with reciprocity supported) Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards Experience writing architectural specifications Commitment to sustainable design principles Demonstrated ability to balance design aesthetics with technical functionality Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills Key Responsibilities
Lead design and technical aspects of multifamily projects Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes Mentor junior staff and review architectural documents for accuracy Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning, and sustainability standards Resolve technical issues during construction and support contractors Prepare and present project updates to internal and external teams Support budget evaluations and propose value-engineering options Maintain quality control and stay current on industry best practices Compensation & Benefits
