Qualitative UX Researcher — Location: Remote • Duration: 12 Months • Pay: ~$75/hr, DOE The Planet Group is looking for a Qualitative UX Researcher to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 12-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule. Responsibilities
Tackle high priority projects across teams working on search journeys Conduct qualitative research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe and methodologies (this could look like concept testing, usability testing, in-depth interviews, or diary studies) Scope and define research studies with guidance from other researchers and in alignment with cross-functional partners (product management, design, engineering, and data science) Execute research projects from beginning to end (construct a research plan, recruit, gather data, synthesize learnings, and socialize insights) Proactively share your research findings and recommendations with product teams and other audiences, in compelling, actionable, and engaging ways Qualifications
3+ years experience designing and conducting end-to-end product research at a consumer-facing tech company Experience with conducting evaluative and tactical research Comfortable running research sessions with design prototypes (e.g. via Figma) Strong ability to tie research insights to actionable and specific product implications Excellent communication, storytelling/narrative building, and presentation skills Collaborative approach to research and ability to bring stakeholders along for the process Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and ramp up to new product area
