Security Marketing and Security Business . This newly created role goes beyond traditional program management, serving as a functional leader and strategic partner to the Chief of Staff, Finance, and broader security leadership team. The

Director of Security Operations

will drive strategy initiatives and facilitate rhythm of business (ROB), creating clarity in ambiguous situations to drive prioritization and decision making for leaders across the organization. The role may execute business plans in coordination with program managers to ensure continuity of business operations at all times, including in adverse conditions, in accordance with corporate governance. It leads strategy execution across internal stakeholders and the organization in partnership with the leadership team. It leverages deep knowledge of the organizational strategy and planned deliverables to design complex budgets. It leads multiple workstreams with stakeholders and the leadership team, sharing goals, objectives, vision, and best practices across the Business Management community at Microsoft. It ensures a healthy scorecard, champions culture initiatives aligned to the People Strategy, and connects leaders and teams to One Microsoft Diversity and Inclusion resources and guidance. It drives cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and to manage complex business needs. Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or related roles OR equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, or program management. 3+ years of experience managing budgets, dashboards, and metrics. Additional/Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 12+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field AND 15+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or related roles OR equivalent experience. Responsibilities

Architect the Rhythm of the Business (RoB) strategy, and lead planning, business reviews, and operational cadence; communicate effectively with senior leaders and partner teams. Use strategy plans to inform structure and business insights to predict outcomes. Work with senior leaders to drive outcomes. Planning includes partnering with Engineering, Sales, and Finance to develop the full meeting cadence and business communications strategy for the CSA, documenting the plan, socializing the plan, and driving approval of the plan with Security leadership. Own fiscal year budget and headcount planning and execution, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and financial discipline. Collaborate with Security CVP and Finance to allocate resources aligned to organizational priorities in prescribed templates. Drive the fiscal year Marketing planning cycle meetings, manage the consolidated planning calendar and rhythms to support cross-team planning workstreams that cascade from Marketing and Business priorities. Partner with marketing leaders responsible for the Security growth strategy, priorities, marketing plan, GTM plan, and Marcom plan to ensure on-time delivery. Define, track, and report on Security business metrics and dashboards to showcase performance. Develop and maintain dashboards. Partner with Strategy and GTM teams to integrate marketing scorecard metrics and business health metrics to support the RoB. Set best practices for long-term company strategy within existing businesses and present business cases to senior leadership. Instill operational discipline by standardizing processes and timelines, ensuring data integrity and quality in all business reporting, developing dashboard views to review metrics, and creating workbacks to support planning as needed. Manage end-to-end Security Launch Council, ensuring cross-functional alignment and readiness across product, marketing, and field teams. Prioritize content to be reviewed, lead planning and execution for meetings, including facilitation and recap of decisions and actions. Drive execution of the marketing budget, headcount affordability, and the marketing units of production, ensuring alignment to quarterly accountability and outcomes tied to business priorities and metrics. Ensure overall execution of Security marketing quarterly budget to meet targets. Assist in coordinating metrics for budgeting and forecasting; identify actions to improve performance, anticipate challenges based on forecasts, and contribute to strategic investment decisions. Coordinate with Procurement to secure future resources. Ensure leadership alignment on headcount strategy and participate in or lead organizational design for headcount allocation. Support additional rhythm of the business cadences as needed based on business needs. Serve as a strategic partner to the Chief of Staff to CVP, providing seamless support and continuity to ensure executive effectiveness and rhythm of business execution. Identify and implement tools or systems to improve team productivity (e.g., reporting automation, project tracking, AI, and agents); champion adoption of these technologies across the team. Benefits
