Job Title PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Overview The role of Project Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with the project manager and project team on project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. To be successful, the candidate should be comfortable taking on a variety of tasks that require different skills and appropriately prioritizing their completion.

Roads, bridges, infrastructure.
BUILDING DIVISION:
Specializing in vertical and large commercial/residential structures.
COMMERCIAL DIVISION:
Commercial/Residential buildings and special-purpose complexes.
POWER & INDUSTRIAL DIVISION:
Factories/Utility structures
WATERFRONT & FOUNDATIONS DIVISION:
Harbors, shoreline, and foundations.
Build the Structures Statewide: Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Big Island.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
Detailing for field use, including shop drawings for rebar, forming, scaffolding, traffic control, etc.
Review subcontractors' and vendors' shop drawings for conformance with contract drawings and specifications.
Update RFIs electronically into drawings and specifications for all design packages.
Assist the project team in coordinating drawings across all disciplines to identify conflicts or clashes. May use BIM 360 or Autodesk.
Assist the QC Manager in processing RFIs, submittals, contractor daily reports, QC reports, project photos, QC meeting agendas and meeting minutes, and environmental meeting agendas and minutes.
Perform other miscellaneous project engineering tasks as needed or assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or completion of a Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 years of practical construction experience.
Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe is helpful.
Ability to plan and organize tasks, and function under pressure or time constraints.
