Together, we help complex and regulated industries—including manufacturing, industrial, plastics, technology, healthcare, and financial services—translate technical stories into clear, credible, and commercially effective narratives. We combine strategic marketing communication tools, brand positioning, PR, and executive thought leadership with deep Account Based Marketing, demand generation, and RevOps capabilities. THE ROLE We are seeking a Senior Account Director to join our growing team. This role blends account leadership with hands-on content creation, particularly tailored to the needs of B2B industries. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring that every piece of content—whether thought leadership, technical bylines, case studies, press materials, or company communications—meets high standards of clarity, compliance, and impact. This fast-paced role will manage the deliverables for multiple aspects of our client’s marketing strategies – from advertising, online tools, to PR and events. The ideal candidate will be equal parts business driver, client partner, and content strategist, with the ability to manage relationships, grow revenue, and lead high-performing teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Account Management Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building trusted relationships with client stakeholders. Understand client business models, industries, and regulatory environments to anticipate needs and opportunities. Ensure deliverables are on-time, on-budget, and aligned with client goals. Partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities within accounts.

Content & Copy Development Lead copy development across a range of formats: executive thought leadership, white papers, case studies, technical articles, op-eds, social media content, newsletters, and web copy. Translate complex, technical, and compliance-driven subject matter into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with B2B decision-makers. Collaborate with internal teams on ideation, messaging frameworks, and editorial calendars. Ensure all content reflects brand voice, strategic positioning, and compliance requirements.

Strategic Insight Bring knowledge of highly regulated sectors (e.g., manufacturing, industrials, healthcare, fintech, telecom) into account strategies and content planning. Work with the SQRM + SIY team to integrate ABM, demand generation, and PR strategies into client campaigns. Leverage AI-enabled tools and platforms to improve speed, scale, and reporting on content performance. Serve as the primary relationship lead for key plastics, manufacturing, and industrial accounts. Build and maintain C-level client relationships by offering proactive counsel, industry insights, and communications best practices. Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to showcase results, surface new opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships. Act as a trusted extension of the client’s leadership team, anticipating needs and aligning strategies to business goals. Develop account growth strategies that expand our role within client organizations. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across PR, ABM, Thought Leadership, and RevOps. Present new service offerings, including AI-enabled tools, that enhance efficiency and measurable results. Collaborate with SRM leadership on RFPs, renewals, and new business pitches. Own revenue targets for account expansion and client profitability.

PR & Communications Leadership Lead earned media strategies for plastics, manufacturing, and regulated industries. Build strong media relationships with trade publications, industry editors, and relevant journalists. Develop and oversee press releases, executive bylines, and thought leadership articles. Position clients as industry leaders by securing visibility in top trade and business media outlets

Team & Operational Leadership Lead and mentor a team of account managers, copywriters, and junior staff. Promote a team-player culture that values collaboration, accountability, and professional development. Set clear objectives for the team around delivery, client satisfaction, and growth. Partner with Company leadership to align our operations with the broader growth strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of experience in account management, communications, or content marketing (agency or B2B preferred). Exceptional writing and editing skills, with proven experience developing executive-level content and technical narratives. Strong understanding of regulated B2B industries and ability to simplify complex topics without losing precision. Ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality. Familiarity with ABM, RevOps, and demand generation frameworks is a plus. Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate content ideation and execution.
