Overview
The Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a fellowship-trained endourologist to join the Department as Assistant Professor in the University Medical Line. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both surgical and non-surgical management of kidney stone disease, with an exemplary track record in patient care and teaching. Additionally, the candidate will have a background in translational and/or clinical research, with the potential to develop an independent research program and secure extramural funding. Responsibilities
Engage in clinical care and teaching as part of the University Medical Line. Develop and maintain an independent research program with the goal of national recognition and extramural funding. Contribute to training programs and participate in educational activities for residents and fellows. Pursue translational and/or clinical research related to kidney stone disease and endourology. Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible with an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent) and fellowship training in endourology. Evidence or promise of excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity. Experience or potential to achieve regional recognition for excellence; if no formal teaching experience, demonstrated commitment to teaching during training with potential to meet or exceed standards. Compensation and Benefits
The expected base pay range for this position is $372,000 - $399,000. This range reflects base pay and does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive programs.
