Overview
The Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a fellowship-trained endourologist to join as Assistant Professor in the University Medical Line. The candidate should be experienced in surgical and non-surgical management of kidney stone disease, with an exemplary track record in patient care and teaching, and a background in translational and/or clinical research with the potential to develop an independent research program and secure extramural funding. Responsibilities
Develop and lead a robust clinical, teaching, and research program in endourology. Engage in teaching and serve as an integral member of training programs. Contribute to scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine and pursue extramural funding. Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible with an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent) and fellowship training in endourology. Experience in both surgical and non-surgical management of kidney stone disease. Background in translational and/or clinical research with the potential to develop an independent program and secure extramural funding. Track record of innovative peer-reviewed publications and extramural career development awards is highly desired. Compensation and benefits
The expected base pay range is $372,000 – $399,000 per year. This range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank, and does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive programs.
