Overview

Ultrasound Technologist (PRN / On-Call) opportunity at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD. This role supports ultrasound imaging within a collaborative Johns Hopkins Medicine environment and provides opportunities for skill development in a patient-focused setting. Responsibilities

Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures using required ACR standards. Assist the Radiologist with invasive procedures when required. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound image acquisition. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of EPIC and PACS workflow. Educational / Experience Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Evidence of continuing education as required to maintain certification. Current ARDMS and CPR certification. At least two years as a diagnostic technologist/sonographer preferred, but not required. Strong prioritization and triage skills to maintain a smooth workflow. Proficiency in scanning general, vascular, upper and lower extremity venous Doppler, as well as some pediatric exams. Shift & Schedule

PRN help on an as-needed basis, days, evenings, and some weekends. Weekends: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Weekdays: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. 1 on-call shift required per month; participate in holiday rotation. Candidate must be reliable and able to work independently. Compensation

Salary Range: Minimum $54.00/hour – Maximum $54.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. Salary discussions may occur during candidate screening calls when ranges are displayed as $0. Equal Opportunity & Workplace Policies
