$130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated

Accounting Manager

to oversee the month-end close process and ensure compliance with

SOX requirements . This role is responsible for leading a team, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting internal and external audits. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with month-end close, and the ability to implement and maintain effective internal controls. Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the

month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with

US GAAP

and

SOX 404 internal control requirements

across all accounting processes. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and review financial statements, account analyses, and supporting documentation. Develop, document, and enhance

internal controls and accounting policies . Partner with auditors during financial and SOX audits by preparing schedules, responding to requests, and ensuring timely completion. Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Operations, and other teams to support business initiatives and provide insights. Drive

process improvements

and identify opportunities for automation within accounting and reporting. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

CPA preferred . 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibilities. Strong understanding of

month-end close processes, GAAP, and SOX compliance . Experience in a public company environment strongly preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work in a

fast-paced environment

with multiple priorities. Seniority level
