Overview This role is an exciting opportunity to join Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Dubai. The Program Manager will provide crucial support to ensure the smooth execution of program management activities for the existing Executive MBA Dubai (EMBA Dubai) and the forthcoming M.A. in International Business and Policy degree (IBP Dubai), which Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service jointly offers. The position reports to the Director of Student Services and involves off-site activities in Dubai and international components such as the Global Business Experience (GBE) and other residencies or modules held abroad.

Responsibilities

Assist with program management tasks to help meet academic goals.

Work with the Academic Director(s) to administer student surveys on program quality and gather feedback from students and faculty for program improvement.

Assist in monitoring program quality, identify areas for improvement, and help implement better systems and processes.

Support the exploration and implementation of new technology tools to improve program administration and student services.

Help respond to student inquiries, provide guidance on program schedules, and assist with addressing any issues or concerns during the program.

Assist faculty in distributing learning resources to students.

Work Interactions The Program Manager reports to the Director of Student Services and works closely with the Dubai team (Academic/Program Director(s)) and, in Washington, DC, the Office of the Dean and Vice Deans, Graduate & Executive Degree Programs, Admissions and Finance, and other central offices on Main Campus. Regular communication and collaboration with mid-career to executive students, seasoned faculty, and diverse staff across time zones, as well as external vendors and service providers, are required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a small but dynamic team are essential.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Professional with 2+ years of experience in operations/program management or equivalent

Ability to work well with mid to senior executives and faculty members, and a deep commitment to establishing strong relationships with students in the Dubai-based degree programs

Proficiency with Canvas, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and Google Workspace

Fresh perspective for creating enthusiasm around a shared vision for operational efficiency and customer service

Familiarity with the Middle East region

Must physically reside in Dubai or be willing to relocate to Dubai at own expense

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education or a customer-centric industry (e.g., hospitality, retail)

International experience is highly desirable

Delivery of graduate & executive education and/or corporate training is a plus

Pay Range The projected salary range for this position is $44,022.00 – $73,406.80. Compensation is determined by factors including qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and the University’s needs.
