Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for Security Site Supervisors. Team leaders with prior supervision experience in the security or service industry should apply promptly. Weekend and holiday availability is required. This is a salaried position with the possibility of extended hours beyond regular shifts.
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic security professional with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as a Security Site Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end customer service, superior interpersonal abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proven leadership in people management. This role involves the comprehensive management, motivation, and training of a team of customer service-focused security professionals within a prestigious corporate building located in downtown San Francisco. Success in this position depends on excellent oral and written communication, effective leadership, and the ability to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure.
Responsibilities
Establish clear performance goals for the security team and monitor progress.
Provide regular coaching and constructive feedback to improve service quality and team productivity.
Oversee daily security operations and manage all security personnel, ensuring adherence to protocols.
Provide comprehensive training and ongoing guidance to the security team.
Act as the primary point of contact and lead for all emergency situations, ensuring swift response.
Meet or exceed client KPIs and uphold safety and security standards for people, property, and assets.
Regularly inspect security systems and equipment and conduct routine facility patrols.
Develop, enforce, and update security policies and procedures; coordinate with internal departments and external agencies as needed.
Provide professional escorts and assistance to employees and visitors as required.
Demonstrate physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a security supervisory or managerial role; experience in a high-end or corporate environment preferred.
Valid state security guard card and a valid Driver's License with clean driving history.
A minimum of three years of security supervision or leadership experience.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and proven leadership abilities.
Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations.
Knowledge of established security protocols and best practices; strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business, or related field preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug test required.
