Eaglecrest Ski Area - Alaska's Best Kept Secret is hiring. Eaglecrest is seeking a Marketing & Media Coordinator to join our team. The person in this position should be enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to represent Eaglecrest in the support of developing and supporting marketing communications regarding Eaglecrest activities and events. Our ideal candidate is ready to promote Eaglecrest in the office and out on the slopes, ready to take pictures or videos daily, and is enthusiastic about working for our ski area. Benefits

You will be working out of the Marketing Office in Fish Creek Lodge at Eaglecrest Ski Area. Winter hours typically are Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime available during holiday periods. The summer season offers more flexibility on scheduling. Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Marketing Manager, plan, direct, and create content for Eaglecrest outlets (web updates, social media content creation, advertising through radio and web partners, newsletters) and assist other departments as necessary. Provide guests with honest and promotional Eaglecrest information and content; capture the enthusiasm around skiing and riding at Eaglecrest and share it. Assist the Marketing Manager in creating content for socials and web updates, perform creative writing, update conditions reports, handle customer service requests, and take pictures or videos on the mountain almost daily. Plan events and participate in training to become proficient in our user interfaces. Be flexible and ready to adjust to constant changes on the mountain. Effective read/write/phone communication is crucial. Qualifications

Experience: Two years of administrative experience that included the use of social media. Substitution: Post-secondary classes in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or related field from an accredited college can substitute for the required experience at a rate of 2.5 semester hours (3.75 quarter hours) of credit for one month of experience.
