As a Floating Sr. Account Manager, you will be assigned a sales territory based on business needs, which can change every 30 to 90+ days. You will not have a permanent territory but will float to cover territories where there is an immediate vacancy anywhere throughout the San Jose, CA market. Identify, develop and qualify leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques. Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base. Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about how they can leverage innovative business solutions. Proactively establish, build and maintain relationships with key decision makers. Effectively present and create multi-product solution opportunities. Demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions to promote and position products including: Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms. Track and report progress through the use of sales force automation tools. This position will support a sales territory that requires travel in and around the San Jose, CA area. It is hybrid and must be within a commutable distance to this area for in-person meetings and customer site visits. The territory may cover, but is not limited to, San Jose CA and surrounding areas. You’re self-motivated and skilled at crafting the right solution to solve a client’s problems, and you can explain how complex technology solves everyday business challenges simply. Cold-calling feels like a sport to you; you enjoy meeting new people and discovering their needs. People seek you out for advice and counsel, you take initiative to close deals, and you act with integrity. You understand that when the team wins, we all win. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant outside sales experience. Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation. Willingness to work in a mobile model with travel within your geographic territory (up to ~50%). Valid driver’s license. Even better if you have one or more of the following: A degree (Associates or Bachelor’s) or relevant certifications/college courses. Two or more years of B2B or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling. Technology sales experience (SaaS, CRM, Salesforce or similar tools, social media, etc.). Strong presentation skills in person and virtual environments. Experience building and maintaining relationships with all levels of client organizations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment. Time management and prioritization skills; ability to implement feedback and adapt strategies.
