As a Floating Sr. Account Manager, you will be assigned a sales territory based on business needs, with no permanent territory. You will float to cover vacancies across the Escondido CA market and surrounding areas, with travel as needed. Identify, develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and social selling techniques. Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base. Coordinate with support partners to educate customers about innovative business solutions. Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers. Present and create multi-product solution opportunities. Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions to promote products including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms. Track and report progress using sales force automation tools. Travel within the North San Diego County area as required; hybrid role with in-person meetings and site visits. You are self-motivated and capable of crafting solutions to client problems. You can explain complex technology in plain language and enjoy cold-calling and meeting new people to uncover needs. You seek to win, take initiative, and work with integrity. You understand that when the team wins, we all win. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience Four or more years of relevant experience, including outside sales, prospecting and negotiation Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic sales territory (up to ~50%) Valid driver’s license Even better if you have: A degree or relevant certifications Two or more years of B2B or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting Experience in technology sales (SaaS, CRM/Salesforce, etc.) and education Strong presentation skills in person and virtually Experience building and maintaining relationships across all levels of client organizations Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment and manage time effectively Ability to implement feedback and adapt approach for success If Verizon and this role sound like a fit, apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification.
