What you’ll be doing With your sales experience, ability to manage your time efficiently, excellent customer relations skills, and enthusiasm for technology, you will deliver outstanding and innovative business solutions that support our technology evolution and connect businesses. You will consult with customers to identify business challenges and recommend tailored solutions to drive strong returns for customers and grow revenue. Responsibilities include:

Identifying, developing and qualifying leads within your territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques.

Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.

Retaining, managing, and growing the existing customer base.

Coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about innovative solutions.

Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.

Presenting and creating multi-product solution opportunities.

Demonstrating knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions to promote products including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.

Tracking and reporting progress using sales force automation tools.

Supporting a sales territory that requires travel in and around the San Diego, CA area; this is a mobile role with most time spent in the field for in-person meetings and customer visits.

What we’re looking for You’re a self-motivated person who crafts the right solution to solve a client’s problems and can explain how technology solves everyday business issues in clear terms. Cold-calling and meeting new people to understand their needs come naturally. You seek to win, close deals, and help others around you, acting with integrity and believing that when the team wins, we all win.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

Four or more years of relevant outside sales experience, including prospecting and negotiation

Willingness to work in a mobile model with travel within your geographic territory (up to ~50% expected)

Valid driver’s license

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications/college coursework

Two+ years of B2B or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting

Technology sales experience with SaaS, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), or related tools

Strong presentation skills in person and virtually

Experience building and maintaining relationships at all levels of client organizations

Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment

Time management and prioritization skills

Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success

Where you’ll be working In this mobile role, you’ll primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.

The salary will vary by location and experience. This is a commission-based position with potential to earn more. The annual salary range for the listed locations on this requisition, for a full-time schedule, is: $53,000.00 - $92,000.00.
