An opening for a Gastroenterologist at established facilities in southeastern Florida.
Work at state-of-the-art facilities alongside talented teams. During your time off, relax on sandy beaches or explore vibrant neighborhoods.
Position Overview:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts Call shifts required, fellows take first call Setting: Inpatient and outpatient Duties: Outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, inpatient rounding and teaching Bosch scopes required Will work with residents and fellows Comprehensive subspecialty support EMR: Epic Academic experience required Must be board-certified
Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Internal Medicine Florida state license Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program One year of work experience as Gastroenterologist One year of EMR experience Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
