Overview
Searching for a Hematologist/Oncologist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to join the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in the Hematology-Oncology Division at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital and Trauma Center. The Department of Medicine at UCSF is recruiting for part-time or full-time positions. The selected candidate will be appointed at a rank and series commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
Candidates must have demonstrated clinical skills in managing patients with hematologic disorders and/or solid tumors, excellent teaching skills and/or an interest in conducting clinical and behavioral research. Interest and a published track-record in health care disparities and outcomes research is preferred.
Clinical duties will include rotating on an inpatient consultation service in a safety-net hospital; caring for outpatients in a specialty clinic and managing an e-consult service. Teaching opportunities will involve medical students, residents, Hematology-Oncology fellows and advanced practice providers (APPs).
Candidates should be ABIM-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology or be board-eligible. Bi-lingual providers are also desirable.
