Hematologist/Oncologist

— Assistant, Associate or Professor University of California San Francisco, Department of Medicine, Hematology-Oncology Division, Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital and Trauma Center. Part-time or full-time positions available; rank and series commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Overview The Department of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco is recruiting a Hematologist and Oncologist for the Hematology-Oncology Division at ZSFG. We are seeking candidates for part-time or full-time appointments at theAssistant, Associate or Professor level.

Responsibilities

Clinical duties: rotate on an inpatient consultation service at a safety-net hospital; care for outpatients in a specialty clinic; manage an e-consult service.

Teaching: opportunities with medical students, residents, Hematology-Oncology fellows, and advanced practice providers (APPs).

Participation in clinical and behavioral research; interest and a published track-record in health care disparities and outcomes research is preferred.

Qualifications

ABIM-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology or board-eligible.

Bi-lingual providers are desirable.

Salary: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay by rank and step at appointment. The minimum base salary range for this position is $131,200-$344,400, with eligibility for additional compensation under the health sciences compensation plan.
