Overview
Senior Financial Analyst I, Finance | Technology — FTI Consulting is seeking a Finance Sr Analyst to support the Technology Segment’s global management team in achieving short- and long-term financial goals. This role acts as a liaison between frontline practitioners and finance back offices, shaping how leaders view value creation and helping manage the segment’s financial performance. The position reports to the Finance Lead, Technology Segment, with direct exposure to the segment’s leadership team. What You’ll Do
Help manage the month-end close and quarter-end close financial processes with the accounting team; identify and troubleshoot issues and provide information as needed. Design and produce monthly management reports for segment leadership and Executive Management; develop models and presentations to present financial data; continuously improve reporting content and processes. Analyze the segment’s financial performance and derive business intelligence to inform decision-making; work with leaders to identify drivers, issues and opportunities. Participate in quarterly forecasts and budgets; build business projections, assess risks and opportunities, provide analysis for management decisions, and manage cost and revenue allocations. Support long-term strategic planning; understand the broader business landscape (competitors, clients, pricing trends). Partner with Human Resources to align talent and compensation planning with forecast/budget goals and strategic needs. Work with practitioners to resolve ad hoc inquiries on financial matters (billing, utilization, revenue recognition, etc.). Help manage Technology Finance department processes and cadence; contribute to operational improvements to increase productivity and support the business. Develop and track KPIs (e.g., pricing trends, profitability). Lead or participate in financial modeling for potential acquisitions (e.g., accretion/dilution) and other ad hoc analyses or special projects. How You’ll Grow

Basic Qualifications BS or BA Degree. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and operations (budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and FP&A duties). Experience with financial statements and analyses (variance/trend analyses, valuation), financial operations, and management reporting processes. Experience with financial systems (e.g., TM1, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Unit4 or similar). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fast, eager learner; ability to adapt to complex, changing, ambiguous environments. Proactive, self-starter with leadership mindset; ability to help manage workload and contribute. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications BS in Accounting, Economics or Finance. CPA, CFA, or MS/MBA. Working knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition and forecasting. Ability to influence others in a matrix organization. Experience with data modeling and presentation tools such as Power BI.
