Role Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work for a company that invests in telling stories, viewing trends, and diagnosing results visually. You will partner with business clients to drive strategic directions for sustainable performance and challenge current processes to be more proactive, effective, and efficient. Your responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing Profit & Loss statements, building reports, and supporting management with project updates and ad-hoc analysis.
Key Skills:
Strong communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and influencing skills
Ability to articulate analysis outcomes and develop presentations for senior audiences
Responsibilities:
Financial reporting and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L management
Collaborate with system analysts to develop and maintain financial models
Coordinate data collection, verify data integrity, analyze outputs, and communicate findings
Develop business presentations for leadership
Handle ad-hoc requests and manage workload independently
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years’ experience in financial analysis and modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
3+ years’ experience in financial analysis and modeling
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900; Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200
Role eligible for performance-based incentives
