The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is one of only two Federally-operated school systems, responsible for managing prekindergarten through 12th-grade educational programs on behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD). DoDEA operates 160 schools across 8 districts located in 11 countries, 7 states, and 2 territories. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and rigorous education for the children of military and civilian personnel worldwide. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Psychologist located in Washington, DC. The School Psychologist will be responsible for assessing students' psychological and educational needs, providing counseling and intervention services, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' academic and emotional development. Key tasks include conducting individual and group assessments, developing and implementing intervention plans, and contributing to the development of educational programs and policies. Qualifications

Skills in conducting psychological and educational assessments, and creating intervention plans Experience in providing individual and group counseling services Collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, parents, and administrators Knowledge of child development, learning theories, and educational psychology Proficiency in data analysis and report writing Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Certification as a School Psychologist Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with military-connected students, is a plus Seniority level
