We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Consulting School Psychologist to join our healthcare team. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of students from kindergarten to 12th grade. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including educators, healthcare professionals, and families, to provide comprehensive psychological services designed to foster the emotional, social, and academic development of students. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students, including cognitive, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral functioning. 2. Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies and educational plans to address students' unique needs and promote their overall wellbeing. 3. Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. 4. Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents on various topics related to child development and mental health. 5. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed. 6. Advocate for the mental health needs of students and promote a safe and inclusive school environment. 7. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of students' assessments, interventions, and progress. 8. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in school psychology and incorporate this knowledge into practice.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field. 2. State licensure or certification to practice as a school psychologist. 3. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students from kindergarten to 12th grade in a school or clinical setting. 4. Knowledge of child development, learning theories, and educational systems. 5. Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention strategies. 6. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey complex information to a diverse audience. 8. Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education. 9. Experience or training in psychiatry is a plus.
