What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple areas within the enterprise
Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions
Execute a technical software development strategy for various domains
Ensure the quality, usability, and performance of engineering solutions
Mentor and coach engineering and product teams while sharing best practices
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience within a Java framework
At least 8 years of experience in architecture and design
A minimum of 6 years of experience with open-source frameworks
4+ years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Track record of publications in credible conferences and journals
Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
Fluency in modern programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#
Knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and application monitoring tools
