Nurse In Charge / 36 Hour Rotation / BWH Neuroscience/ICU Nursing at Brigham and Women's Hospital is known for their excellent clinical practice and for keeping patients and their families at the center of all they do. The Nurse In Charge will be responsible for:

Partnering with Nursing leadership in planning and implementing patient care at the service/department level.

Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Qualifications Current Massachusetts license. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.

For external applicants:

Bachelors or Masters in Nursing required.

For internal applicants:

Bachelors or Masters in Nursing preferred. If not, must be enrolled or enroll in a program leading to a Bachelors or Masters in Nursing within 1 year from being appointed to NIC position and must complete such program no later than 6 years after commencing employment as a NIC.

2 years current Neuroscience ICU Nurse in Charge Experience Required

Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in specialty areas is encouraged.
