Leader responsible for the community’s daily operations, associate relations, resident and resident family engagement and connection, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Create and execute the business plan and develop the team to become a preferred senior living community in the market, while growing revenue and profitability in partnership with the district team. Work with sales to drive sales results. Create an inclusive community culture that provides high quality resident experiences and care and engages residents, families, and associates. Own all operations within the community, build and maintain strong working relationships with staff, residents, prospects, or their family members or representatives. Develop and implement annual operating and capital budgets; review and manage community performance against goals; set plans to improve or maintain performance to Company standards. Lead and motivate community staff; ensure appropriate staffing levels and compliance with legal requirements. Recruit, develop, and retain associates; manage promotions, development plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations; analyze recruiting and retention trends to improve performance. Maintain high resident satisfaction and retention; promote positive resident relations; collaborate with the Resident Council; address opportunities for improvement through surveys and district collaboration. Collaborate with clinical leaders for care across assisted living or memory care as applicable; oversee admission processes, healthcare management, and resident documentation. Demonstrate financial acumen to meet revenue and profitability targets; plan for revenue enhancement and cost control while adhering to policies. Drive sales and marketing efforts to meet occupancy and revenue targets; engage with prospects and implement approved strategies to maximize revenue. Build relationships with local influencers and represent the community to government agencies, professional organizations, and community groups as appropriate. Ensure facilities meet company standards through preventative maintenance oversight and regular inspections. Enforce company policies and maintain applicable licenses under regulatory requirements. Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of two years in operational leadership required. Additional years of experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Certifications, Licenses, And Other Special Requirements
Must have a valid administrator license in states where required. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use. Management/Decision Making
Uses analytic skills to handle problems and issues; demonstrates leadership for the overall direction and evaluation of resident care, marketing, food service, housekeeping, and maintenance units; supervisory responsibilities in line with policy and law. Knowledge And Skills
Knowledge of the organization and industry; strong communication, multitasking, delegation, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency with Microsoft software preferred. Physical Demands and Working Conditions
