Lead the community’s daily operations, associate relations, resident and resident family engagement, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Create and execute the business plan and develop the team to be a preferred senior living community in the market, while growing revenue and profitability in partnership with the district team. Work with sales to drive sales results. Cultivate an inclusive community culture that provides high-quality resident experiences and care, engaging residents, families, and associates. Own all operations within the community; build and maintain strong relationships with the management team and with residents, prospects, or their families as needed. Develop and implement the annual operating and capital budgets with the district team; analyze performance against goals; plan to improve or maintain performance to Company standards. Provide hands-on leadership to supervise, direct, and motivate staff; promote teamwork, inclusive culture, and appropriate staffing levels in compliance with legal requirements. Attract, develop, engage, and retain associates; oversee recruiting, training, promotions, development plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations; analyze recruiting trends to improve performance. Maintain high resident satisfaction and retention; manage resident relations and address issues with district support; leverage resident satisfaction to grow occupancy; collaborate with Resident Council as needed; administer surveys and create improvement plans. For assisted living or memory care, ensure care services meet resident needs; oversee resident services including admissions, healthcare management, and documentation to ensure compliance. Demonstrate financial acumen to meet budgeted revenue and profitability; explore revenue opportunities and manage expenses while adhering to policies and regulations. Drive sales and marketing efforts with the community sales leader to meet occupancy or revenue targets; engage with prospects and implement approved activities to maximize revenue. Build relationships with local influencers, participate in community activities, and represent the community to relevant agencies and groups. Ensure buildings and grounds meet Company standards through preventative maintenance oversight and regular inspections; enforce policies and ensure licenses are current. Qualifications

Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of two years in operational leadership experience required; additional years of experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Certifications, Licenses, And Other Special Requirements Must have a valid administrator license where required. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.

Management/Decision Making Uses analytic skills to handle problems; demonstrates leadership to direct and evaluate resident care, marketing, dining, housekeeping, and maintenance units; supervises in accordance with policies and laws.

Knowledge And Skills Knowledge of the organization and industry; strong communication, prioritization, delegation, judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills; familiarity with Microsoft software preferred.
